1. What is the difference between a Seller and a Store?

A seller is the vendor who sells products, while a store is the shop page created by that seller. The store shows all products along with branding like logo and banner.

Seller = Person, Store = Shop

2. Why do Seller and Store look similar?

Because usually one seller has one store, both options often open the same page, which can cause confusion.

3. Who sets the commission?

The admin sets the commission. Sellers must agree to it and cannot change it.

4. Is it mandatory for sellers to have a store?

Yes, every seller must have a store to sell products.

5. Can multiple sellers sell to one customer?

Yes, customers can buy products from multiple sellers in a single cart.

6. How do subscription plans work?

The admin creates plans with limits like number of products and time period. Sellers choose and pay for a plan.

7. Is subscription mandatory?

No, the admin can disable it or provide free plans.

8. Can all sellers sell default store products?

Yes, this can be managed by admin settings or features. A vendor can also create their own products

9. Can one product be assigned to multiple sellers?

By default, a product can be assigned to only one vendor. For multiple sellers, use template product functionality.

Admin creates a product template and assigns it to multiple sellers. Each seller can set their own price, quantity, and stock.

11. Can customers compare seller prices?

Yes, customers can see different seller prices on the product page and choose the best option.

It allows Opencart admin and sellers to upload and manage many products using Excel, saving time and effort.

13. Can bulk import be used for template products?

OpenCart Bulk import is mainly for normal product data. Template products are managed from the admin panel.
