Changes Made to Live Chat Module in Multivendor Marketplace Opencart

The customer can communicate with the seller directly by this extension. This is all made possible by the live chat module. This is a very easy process to communicate with customers and sellers. This feature makes a strong multivendor opencart. For this, the admin has to Allow Tawk. to chat from the settings of multivendor. After that, the admin had to set tawk.to chat id in the seller store. Now Admin will have to set back.to widget code instead of tawk.to chat id.

The admin will go into the multivendor settings to allow tawk.to chat. After that, both the admin and the seller will be able to set the tawk.to widget code.

Go to admin > multivendor > settings.

1 chat

After that admin will go to the store page and follow these steps.

Go to admin > multivendor > stores.

Now admin will have to edit the store and go to the live chat tab. After that, an admin will have to set “allow tawk.to live chat”.

Earlier, the chat id had to be filled in the tawk.to chat id text box.

Now we have used tawk.to widget code instead of tawk.to chat id. This is given below.

You can see the difference between tawk.to chat id and tawk.to widget code also. For this, we will have to copy the widget code and paste it into the tawk.to chat widget code text area.

For getting the tawk.to widget code, you will have to visit tawk.to the website and login to the user account. After that, you will get the add-on icon. We will click here after that you will get the new page. You will have to click on the chat widget. After that, you will see the widget code here. Now admin or seller can copy the widget code from here. Copied code will have to paste in the store tawk.to widget code area.

In this way, we can set the live chat on the admin side.

After this, the customer can see the tawk.to live chat on the store and product page.

The seller can add/edit the widget code for the seller panel. For this, follow the given steps.

Go to seller panel > store information

Earlier, we used to set tawk.to chat id in-store edited page. This page will visible like as given below.

Now some changed here. We will have to use “Tawk.to widget code” instead of “Tawk.to chat id”.

Like this, Tawk.to Widget code will paste here.

In this way, we have made changes to the seller registration page. When the seller will register for the seller's store then we will get this field. We have changed here also. This page will visible here like something. Earlier, we use only tawk.to chat id. Now we will have to use Tawk.to widget code instead of tawk.to chat id.

Customers can paste here tawk.to widget code. Like this, we can set tawk.to widget code from here.

After set the tawk.to widget code, we will see the live chat on the store and seller product page, like something.
