Managing option images for products in Opencart
OpenCart purpletree option image and color swatches extension display image to each option you want and show on product page. In Front after select Option Image Product main image will be change with option image.
Product Option Image allows images for product option values and changing the main product image and list of additional product images on the product page in the customer section depending on selected options.

Purpletree option images and color swatches extension allows changing the main product image to a relevant option image on option select on the product page in the customer section.
Some of your products may have multiple options. For instance, if you sell clothes in your online store, a sweater may come in red, blue, and green. You may want to create an option that displays a thumbnail picture of your sweater in the different colors when a customer chooses a specific color.
- Go to: catalog->product.
Find the product that you'd like to add/edit.
Click on its option tab. After that you should select option and add/edit option. After that click on its thumbnail image to set option image.
After select image you will see thumbnail image on option page.
If you want to change and delete image you will select edit and delete option.
Now you should have to save product after that you will see product option on product page.
Option Image and color swatches visible on product page:
You can see the product option image as you saved your product. if you have saved option image in option then you will see product image in main image when you click on option.
For example:
If you sell clothes in online store, a T-shirt may come in red, blue and green different color. Now you should click on option of T-Shirt. As you click on T-Shirt color option. You will see image of T-shirt in this color. This option image is very helpful for choose color variant. You will see image on click on option image.
